The detailed remanufacturing process includes:
- Flushing and cleaning interior and exterior of the ink tank
- Refilling the cartridge with postal fluorescent ink
- Reprogramming the microchip
- Replacing all leak resistant rubber seals
- Inspecting and replacing damaged or worn parts
- Applying fresh labels
The high efficiency ink formulas have been tested for fluorescence and compatibility with U.S. Postal Service facing and sorting equipment.
